Keep going

One of our ministry coordinators talked to me today about how hard it is to see people do the same thing over and over. Ladies come in almost every week with bruised faces and bodies from domestic violence. They want help, but won't take the next step and tell the authorities. A lot of the women keep going back to the same man, over and over again. Sometimes it does feel like going backwards, especially when we choose to minister to those in situations where they don't feel they have any hope. It breaks my heart everytime I hear a story from one of our volunteers or staff. I know that Jesus' love is the answer, but to keep showing it without seeing quick results is hard. That's what we are called to do, though, over and over until it becomes believable.
