CDFE Food Distribution

Written by Mark Junkans Sunday, 12 October 2008 20:12

By the grace of God, on Saturday, September 20, we had the opportunity to distributing food to 413 families in the community. These families are comprised of: 1131 Children, 87 Youngsters, 1023 Adults. This gives a total of 2241 people whom we could be able to serve. Please do extend our deep appreciation to each and every one of the people who worked to make this possible.

We started delivering at 8:45 a.m. and ended at 2:25 p.m. with a continuous line of people. Attached to this message are some pictures we took. Our community is in great need and we are awaiting the next shipment of food to distribute. If you can get rice, beans, ice, water, baby formula, powdered milk, toiletries, etc..

There is a big part of the community who still does not have the electricity service, which makes it more difficult situation. In fact our church does not yet have electricity, we had the Sunday worship service in the patio and as expected, the Lord was glorified. Again thanks for your support and May the Lord bless you all.
