Blessed by Volunteers

When Constance heard IKE was to come into Galveston, she evacuated with other family members.  When she returned, she found her home almost totally destroyed.  The roof was severely damaged, windows were blown out, the interior had water damage and mold and her furniture was ruined. The house had been paid for many years before and because of her very limited income, she had no insurance.  Through LINC volunteer labor and contractors, her home has been totally restored. LINC case management continues to check on her regularly to ensure that she is continuing to get her life back together. She is so grateful that the house her dad built was saved, and that she can live in the home where she has been since she was 3 years old.
