LINC-HOUSTON CAMPUS MINISTRY at UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON

International Student Ministry

With a student population of over 45,000, the University of Houston is bigger than a lot of cities in Texas.  It is also the most diverse major campus in Texas with a large international student population.  This is exactly the kind of mission field into which God has called LINC Houston. This year, LINC has begun an International Student Ministry at UH with the purpose of reaching and discipling students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Ministry team is working together to reach the student population through Bible Studies, free lunch program, prayer and praise services, special events and one-on-one counseling.

You can be a part of this ministry by volunteering your time;

  • Help serve lunch on Mondays (3 per semester for the Lutheran representation)
  • Organize a special Friday night event for students,
  • Provide transportation on Sundays for worship,
  • Contribute financially to purchase Bibles in various languages, food for Monday lunches, devotional materials and evangelism tracts.

Please pray for this exciting new ministry that it will open doors into the various communities in the Houston area as well.  God has brought students to our city from around the globe for a purpose even higher than earning their degree.  He has brought them so that we can share Jesus with them.
